The New Year’s Eve Gala was a
great way to usher in 2010 with dancing, gourmet food, open bar and door
prizes. The decorations were fantastic,
thanks to Gay Crisler and Rena Collins.
The food was excellent, thanks to Jeri Sturges and Charlene McDuffie. Seventy-two members and guests attended.
We had a meeting on New
Year’s Day at the Outrigger at 11:00 a.m., where the board of Directors
reluctantly accepted Nancy Sproba’s resignation from the position of
Secretary.
The Harbour Town Yacht Club
is an excellent example of 10% of the People doing 90% of the work. We currently have 121 members and I want to
encourage each of you to get involved and volunteer to serve on a
committee. Please review the events for
this year and contact a coordinator or Gay Crisler and volunteer to help.
